Types of surgical plastic ware
There are a wide variety of plastic wares used in the hospitals. Disposable
gloves, non woven masks, caps drapes customized ready-to-use disposable &
non disposable health kits etc. are quite common and all made of different
grades of plastic. Other things like plastic kidney tray, operating trays,
tubes etc are fast catching up on the line. Some other plastic medical
disposable products include:
- Adapters: A tool for connecting two parts of different
diameters of an apparatus.
- Beaker: A vessel with high height-to-orifice diameter
ratios.
- Boiling flask: A container used to distill a liquid.
Another type of boiling flask is a Claisen flask.
- Column: A cylinder or tube in which a chromatographic
separation takes place.
- Funnel: A utensil with a tube extending to direct a
downward flow.

transformation or change.
