Colibri
Forceps are multipurpose forceps used in ophthalmic surgery. Colibri means
bird in Italian and refers to the original design of the forceps. The tooth
at the tip gives a secure grip to the cornea or the sclera edge or the iris
tissue. The flat are next to the tip allows suture tying. The long and thin
body also means that the surgical view is not obstructed during the surgery.
